Attractive loft apartment was created in the building of former grain silo that is part of unique well-preserved complex of steam mill from 1920. The object dominant feature is just the grain silo, where the loft apartment was created characterized with open spaces and high ceilings.
14 meters high building of form grain silo went through significant change to atypical living space that has regular square ground plan and consists of four above-ground floors. Each floor offers usable area of 36m2.
Every floor is designed to meet requirements of modern loft living as well as to provide enough space and privacy to every inhabitant of this apartment. The last floor, that is designed as studio/atelier, study/work room or luxury social room, provides nice view of the surroundings thanks to the large glass surfaces in the facade. It is possible to buy further part of the garden to the loft apartment.
The building of former grain silo and its reconstruction to the modern loft apartment is unique project of Ing. arch. Pavel Martinek. This atypical apartment provides generous open disposition with the emphasis on the preservation of original industrial elements (e.g. interior usage of original cast-iron stairs between 3rd and 4th floor). „Living in a tower " with a view to surrounding nature is a very successful conversion of the grain silo to the atypical modern apartment.
Privacy
The building is situated on the estate surrounded by a fence – in the closed area accessible to its inhabitants only. Within the compound there are two blocks of flats with 8 apartments in total that were completed in 2010. These apartments were very attractive for the clients and were sold immediately thanks their excellent layout and especially the location.
Part of the estate with two parking places belongs to the building. It is possible to build individual entry from the public road. The rest of the estate offers enough protected parking places and garden for surrounding apartments‘ owners.
Location
Řevničov is located in the Central Bohemia Region, Rakovník district and micro-region Nové Strašecí. It is positioned 40 km west from Prague on the main road Prague - Carlsbad. There are all community facilities available, e.g. kindergarten, school, doctor, post office and shops. One of the advantages of this region is the nearness of protected landscape area Křivoklátsko. In immediate proximity of Řevničov there is another protected area, favorite natural park Džbán that is used for recreational purposes.
The building can be also used as an office space or company seat with own living.
